Craig's Diamondback Medona

This Diamondback came in due to super loose hub bearings and squeaky brakes.

New bearings. hub adjustment, and some wicking Threadlock fixed up the hub.  Hub bearings loosening is typical on new bikes that have not had the proper love they deserve. The lock nuts can work loose periodically even with proper tightening.  I use Threadlocker to help prevent this tendency.  New quick release wheels typically always need hubs adjusted out of the box.  This is due to the fact that they are built with with no play in the bearings. Functionally these hub bearings require a very specific amount of play to compensate for the flexing of the axle cause by the squeeze put on by the quick release.

Cable tags this long can......
......do this. The rotor will knock off the cap and shred the cable back                           to the anchor bolt. Looks ratty, pokes your legs, and renders cable garbage           when you need to break anchor bolt loose. Of course it is possible cable       could pull through anchor bolt being shredded and without shape. All that to say SNIP and CRIMP.  Brakes got cleaned and adjusted.  No more squeaks heard.

French 1980 Peugeot

The owner pounded out 150 mile days on this beauty back in it's day. Has signature European generator head and tail lights, Nervar cottered cranks, French Simplex components, cheese grater rims, stainless steel fenders, and  tack-welded steel bottle cage.  My apologies for the lack of pics on this job. Most of the pics were lost in a bad download.
